Slow fashion in harmony with the environment
Today, the fashion industry is filled with fast fashion brands which create enormous waste, making clothing instantly gratifying but also cheap. As an eco-friendly, sustainable business, Phoebe Jacqueline pieces are made using only deadstock fabric and recycled materials.
Fabric
Each piece is created with recycled or deadstock fabric. I handpick materials that are leftover from fashion designers due to surplus or change in demand and use those fabrics to create something beautiful. Instead of using wholesale fabric or placing new orders, I will also use fabric that is thrifted or from previous sewing projects.
Shipping
The mailers and tissue paper used in my shipping are 100% recyclable and sourced from Ecoenclose.
